Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of Informed Choices. By giving your time, talents, and compassion, you play an essential role in serving women, men, and families in our community. Whether it’s helping in the boutique, assisting at events, serving as a church liaison, or offering administrative support, there are many ways to get involved.
Every volunteer helps us extend Christ’s love and provide life-affirming care to those facing unexpected pregnancies. No matter your background or availability, there’s a place for you on our team. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
Volunteer Opportunities
Options Advocate
Compassionate and caring individuals are needed to walk alongside women and men facing unplanned pregnancy decisions. Options Advocates educate clients on all three pregnancy options: parenting, adoption, and abortion.
Prep for Life & Parenting Advocates (Men & Women Needed)
Journey one-on-one with clients throughout their pregnancy by providing relational care, ongoing support, encouragement, and education. Client Advocates meet weekly with clients to cover lessons on prenatal care, labor and delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and parenting. These advocates build relationships that nurture and support clients, connecting them with additional resources and agencies in our community as needed. Male advocates specifically cover fatherhood lessons with expectant dads.
New Life Resale Show
Volunteers assist with sorting donations, pricing items, and helping customers at our Wauconda resale shop.
Housekeeping
Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for the families we serve by ensuring the centers are cleaned bi-weekly. Cleaning is typically done outside of normal business hours.
Handyman
Be on call for small jobs such as replacing light bulbs, installing shelving, repairing furniture, painting, and small construction projects.
